Sarum Orienteers holding their Christmas Social in the comfortable surroundings of the Hub Club at Skew Bridge were delighted that, yet again, Santa Claus found time to park his sleigh and reindeer and drop in to give his festive greetings and to preside over the ritual exchange of presents.
As ever Santa’s knee was available as seating for all those present, especially his favourite elves.
Senior Elves were also afforded the comfort of Santa’s (bionic) knee.
Elves of the hairier kind were not forgotten.

Nor were those who might be slightly more worn.
Finally Santa thanked Steff who served us all at the bar and left to move his sleigh which was blocking the car park.

See you all next year. Merry Christmas and good orienteering in 2017.
