It is with much regret that we have to advise of the passing of Peter Hambleton. Our thoughts and condolences go to his wife Joan and to all his family.
Peter was one of the original members of SARUM in 1984 and has been an active supporter throughout his 41 years of membership. He was chairman on more than one occasion and produced brilliant articles for club news and for local newspapers. He obtained grants for the club on a number of occasions and was a great supporter of our youth activities. His pleasant jovial nature will be sorely missed by us all.
A full tribute to Peter will follow shortly, but being such a well-loved member of the club we wanted to make sure all members and friends of the club were aware of his sad passing.
