Junior Club #4: Churchill Gardens

The juniors returned to Churchill Gardens to try out their developing skills in a fun team relay race planned by coach Phil Conway. The race was based on the Harris Relay format with common controls to be visited by each members of the teams of three. There was some fierce competition between the teams irrespective of the age of the rnners – and boy, did they run.

As ever Shane Wilkinson took some great photos and some of these are shown below.SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17 SARUM-Jnr Trg Churchill Gardens-01Oct17

Phil has organised a juniors’ picnic to take place at the Sarum Saunter event at Foxbury, where juniors can try their hand at completing conventional junior courses. It’s great to see the enthusiasm of the children, some of who have now joined the main club.

Keep checking out the Junior Club site for more information on JC activities.
