With the dark evenings upon us the juniors have moved indoors for some training or donned lights to try out Night-O.

Thanks to parents and Sarum volunteers there was lots of adult help to keep the juniors busy in the warm surroundings of the Skew Bridge Sports Pavilion.

A combination of glowsticks to illuminate the controls and torches helped us navigate Phil’s courses on the Greencroft.

On a bitterly cold night Session #9 took place indoors at Five Rivers Leisure Centre. This saw 13 juniors trying out a virtual O course on a computer which helped them think about route choice from control to control. Using Purple Pen, the juniors also tried their hand at couse planning.

The next Junior Club session will be at the Hub Club (Salisbury and S.Wilts Sports Club) at Skew Bridge on Monday 20th November when there should be more night orienteering. See you there.
