No, that isn’t a missplelling. Sarum’s Cameron Jacobs gained a Guiness World Record by becoming the fastest 18 year old runner to complete the London Marathon running barefoot. Cam, along with Mum Polly completed the course in 4 hours 31 minutes on a very warm day. Very much an amazing feat.
Cam was raising money for the National Orchestras For All (NOFA), an organisation that encourages the musical development for children from all walks of life, many with complex disabilities. Cam and Polly raised £7631 in sponsorship, a great achievement.
