Sarum Summer Event

Late entry only now – limited maps available

Villages of Morgans Vale, Redlynch and Woodfalls plus Tinney’s Firs wood
Assembly and car park at Redlynch Sports and Social Club. The Car parking area is not large so car sharing would be helpful. Parking along village streets if car park becomes full.

Map/Terrain (updated for this event)
Woodland Map (Yellow, Short Green, Junior Score): A4 1:4,000 .
Woodland & Urban Map (Senior Score & Green): A3 1:5,000
2.5m contours on waterproof paper.

Urban running through the villages of Morgans Vale, Redlynch and Woodfalls plus mixed ancient wood with an extensive path network on a slope in Tinneys Firs wood.
Some of the courses have been designed to stay within Tinney’s Firs. These courses are ideal for anybody looking for a purely woodland course, not just juniors. Tinney’s Firs is a compact area, but it is nevertheless varied and presents some interesting navigation challenges. Being a compact area, the short green and woodland score courses are ideal for anyone looking to take on a slightly more technical course than they would normally

Control descriptions can be picked up from the Start lanes; they are symbolic except for Yellow – will be text only. They are also in the maps for all courses – except for the Senior Score course – please pick up loose control descriptions for this
